This app is being developed to help Pediatricians and General Practitioners quickly assess important parameters in newborns and children — like growth, bilirubin levels, and blood pressure.
Doctors usually have to check these values on printed charts or manual calculators.
This app will make that process instant and digital — they will just enter values (like age, weight, bilirubin, etc.), and the app will:
The charts used in the app should be the same official charts that doctors use — not computer-generated ones.
We will provide PDFs of all the standard charts (WHO, IAP, Fenton, AAP/NICE bilirubin, etc.).
User enters the measurements (height, weight, head circumference, BP, bilirubin level, etc.).
The app automatically calculates measurments, plots the point on the chart, and shows the percentile and interpretation.
The user should be able to zoom in on the chart and see exactly where the point is plotted.
Option to save the visit, and later view the trend (growth progress, bilirubin trend, etc.).
Allow the user to export the chart as an image or PDF with interpretation.
Each screen should have a short disclaimer like:
“Please verify plotted values before making any clinical decisions.”
This app helps pediatricians and general practitioners quickly assess a child’s growth.
By entering the growth parameters, the app plots them on the standard percentile charts.
The charts are the same as the official printed charts — WHO growth charts for 0–5 years and IAP charts up to 18 years.
The app also plots BMI if the child is older than 8 years.
It helps identify underweight, overweight, and abnormal growth patterns instantly.
