This app is being designed as a complete, clinician-focused neonatal and pediatric reference tool, combining essential calculators, drug formularies, chart plotters, and live research updates — all in one place. The main goal is to make clinical decision support simple, accurate, and fast for pediatricians and neonatologists working in busy setups. Every feature is meant to replace manual reference checking, reduce calculation errors, and provide quick access to verified medical data.
The app will have several major sections:
Chart Plotter – plots WHO, IAP, Fenton, BP, and Bilirubin charts by simply entering the child’s details and growth parameters. It displays exact percentile positions and clinical interpretation.
Drug Formularies – includes two static, offline references:
NICU Drug Formulary (from Neofax PDF) for neonatal doses.
Pediatric Drug Formulary (from Harriet Lane PDF) for older children.
Both are fully offline, word-for-word replicas of their source PDFs, presented in a clean searchable format.
Clinical Calculators – practical NICU tools including Nutritional Audit Calculator, GIR/Dextrose Mixer, PMA (Corrected Gestational Age) Calculator, and ABG Analyzer. These allow doctors to input basic values and instantly get clear interpretations or recommendations.
Research & Trials – a live, online section updated by admin (me), displaying new studies, clinical trials, and PICOT summaries. Each entry includes a comment/discussion area where users can post opinions or reviews.
Overall, the app will act as a digital pocket reference for NICU and pediatric practitioners — combining verified textbook data (offline), smart calculation tools, and continuously updated evidence (online). The interface must stay clean, fast, and medically professional — optimized for use in real-time clinical environments.
Each section mirrors a module inside the mobile/web app.
